We did a recent study to find out just how Eco friendly modern paint-balls really are. We submerged 5 different brands that we have used to see just how long it took for them to break down. It is an important study because we really care about our lands appearance and we also like the study to remind the importance of inventory storage in humid climates and more.

The Brands we have tested so far are(From Left to Right) Inka Silver, Polar Ice, Inka Bio Ball, Inka Copper and First Strike. The paintballs dissolved completely or were heavily bloated or breaking down literally before our eyes. Within just 2 hours, the Polar Ice and The Bio Ball were basically gone. The First Strike is pure plastic and showed no signs or breakdown in 12 hours. We will do a host of tests based on temperature, sunlight(dry up) and much more.

The whole point is to provide a superior product, be Eco responsible and dispel any myth’s of paintball. We, at Skyline, are committed to the Land above anything. We really want to have a great venue and remind the community just how cool this sport really is.

The Skyline Milsim Event on Saturday April 13th was a Huge Success. Attendance for the event was around 30 enthusiasts who played a variety of missions. There were 3 exciting scenarios and followed by team Deathmatch Tournaments of 3 and 5 man teams. The event focused on limited ammo of 100 paintballs each per mission. This included mag fed, tac hopper, pump and tac cap markers. Most Players rolled with 13″Tanks and 3000 PSI which was perfect for each mission.

We had some new faces at the field and we are really glad to have hosted them, along with the long time clubs like Project Mayhem and the Creepers. The Event missions were Directed by Eric Pragnell of Project Mayhem and Filmed by T.roy Productions. There was a spectacular Campfire where everyone roasted Smokies over the open fire and tent shelter from the flurries of snow prior to the Major Storm that rolled in that evening.

Some Players even went as far as saying ‘this was the most fun day of paintball ever’! By playing limited ammo, players are faced with multiple challenges and the game becomes full of strategy. Great Times!

Feedback has been great and we may well plan another on June 8th, based on the Milsim based Missions! Stay tuned.
